At the end of 1976 DC Comics and Warner Books published the "1977 Super DC Calendar" featuring Superheroes vs Supervillains in the year's most monumental battles. This calendar depicted classical battles between the heroes and a villain of their own rogue's gallery taking place in some of the world's most reknown locations.
The battle for the month of June takes place in Niagara Falls between Black Manta and the Aquafamily. I love this image because it is extremely dynamic and spells danger all over. Aquaman is fighting Black Manta, Aqualad is tied to a barrel and falling, while Queen Mera tries to save him and with her water powers attacks the villain in free fall...spectacular!
