"Welcome To The New Family"
Artwork by Ronan Cliquet

Dick Grayson has learned the truth: that 'fixing' his identity lies with none other than Barbara Gordon. He must go to Gotham to find Batgirl -and runs into The Joker's new henchperson, Punchline. Unlike Harley Quinn, Punchline's deadpan black humor matches the deadly knives she uses on her victims..... and for her next joke, Ric Grayson is the punchline.

What We Know So Far...

Ruby Rose has left the show. 'Batwoman' will continue to air, and season 2 is expected to start in early 2021. The producers will not re-cast the titular role. Instead, a new character will be introduced. The name 'Ryan Wilder' is being thrown around to take the mantle of Batwoman. The disappearance of Kate Kane will play into the second season, and showrunner Caroline Dries says she will not be killed off. There is no word on the impact this will have on the planned crossover between Batwoman and Tyler Hoechlin's Superman.

Coming In 2021

Along with the announcement, a concept illustration for the statue was released. Shunya Yamashita designed the artwork, just like the Batwoman and Batgirl statues. This announcement was originally planned for February 9th, during the Winter Festival 2020 at at Makuhari Messe, but due to you-know-what, it is only being notified now.
