This is the cover to Hawkworld #23 (1992). In this issue the "middle" Hawkwoman Sharon Carter dies. By "middle" I mean the one created between the Golden Age's Shiera Hall and Hawkworld's Shayera Thal in order to explain the awkward retcon introduced by DC that erased the Thanagarian Hawks from the Silver Age.
