Saturday May 7th was Free Comic Book Day. DC used the occasion to preview this summer's big event: Flashpoint, written by Geoff Johns and penciled by Andy Kubert. In the preview we get to see Mera twice; once running along all the other DC big guns (thanks for that!), and once in a sideways vision of the Flashpoint world. I can't wait to see a full-action Mera drawn by Andy Kubert, one of my favorite artists!
Here is Mera next to Batman (hello Brave and the Bold?) In the actual Flashpoint #1 issue, Mera's colors are kind of washed out, and she looks more like a hologram. This image is from the FCBD preview.
This image of Mera and Aquaman is exclusive to the FCBD preview; it does not appear in Flashpoint #1.
