Ever since being brought back by the white entity at the end of Blackest Night, Boston Brand has been looking for a purpose, and his white ring is giving him clues as to why he is alive again. One of these clues is a vision involving Mera, who he met when Black Lantern Jean Loring had taken her and Atom into the heart of darkness.
