Happy New Year 2014!

2013 was a year of many changes for Batwoman, Batgirl, and Mera. J.H. Williams III and W. Haden Blackman stepped down from their writing duties in "Batwoman" amidst much controversy. As a result, the "This Blood is Thick" arc was left unfinished. Marck Andreyko has taken over the title. After a bloody confrontation with her brother, James Gordon Jr., Batgirl gave up the cape and cowl as she became "Wanted" by the Gotham P.D. In the meantime, Mera returned to her homeworld Xebel, where new secrets about her were discovered; now, as Queen of Atlantis, her new challenge is to accept and be accepted by people that hate her... and she does not feel that great about them either!  What will 2014 bring for the redheads?  Happy New Year!
