Bad News!

Today is a sad day.  DC has announced that Batwoman will be ending with issue number 40 and Annual number 2 in March/April. I cannot say this is much of a shock, because ever since J.H. Williams III left the title, the character and the book have been receiving less and less attention. Let's hope this is just the end of a volume or a phase, and that Kate, Bette, and the rest of the cast come back soon after.  Sad day, nonetheless.

This was hands down the most beautiful book DC was putting out for quite sometime and definitely one of the two or three most well written. Batwoman almost needed to stay in her own contained universe rather than be conformed to the Batfamily books continuity.

Damn. This sucks. Not a surprise really, but sucks all the same.

I agree with you guys. I'm kind of heartbroken right now, because the title had been going downhill for a while, and Batwoman's participation in Eternal has been also almost non-existent. We can hope the book will be re-launched with a new direction after Convergence, who knows? Nonetheless, thank you for participating.
