This is the cover to Hawkworld #23 (1992). In this issue the "middle" Hawkwoman Sharon Carter dies. By "middle" I mean the one created between the Golden Age's Shiera Hall and Hawkworld's Shayera Thal in order to explain the awkward retcon introduced by DC that erased the Thanagarian Hawks from the Silver Age. Four Years of Redhead Awesomeness!

Wow! I cannot believe it's been four years since I created that first post. It was something I had wanted to do for a long time, but never followed through with it. That was until I came across the Aquaman Shrine, Wonder Woman's Blog, and Milotik's Batgirl Website; these sites were my inspiration to create the blog dedicated to Hawkwoman, Batgirl, and Mera; and since then it has been one of my passions. As we start the fifth year of the blog and approach its 500th post, it is time to reminisce a little bit. Here are the banners I have used throughout the years for the blog:
